We’re hiring

Fy Don is looking for a full-time Business Development Lead to spearhead the commercial growth, outreach, and local integration of our new electric aircraft service. The role is remote working with some travel requiring a driving license, funded for a fixed period of 12 months with performance-based potential for extension.

This is a multi-faceted business development, project coordination, and marketing role. The new team member will be responsible for mapping the UK market, driving adoption of the charger, and building an active ecosystem of users across both aviation and ground transport sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Aviation Outreach: Identify and build direct relationships with electric aircraft operators, flight schools, and sustainable aviation pioneers across the UK to encourage usage of the charging site.

• Cross-Sector Fleet Engagement: Map out and cold-contact local electric ground vehicle (EV) fleet operators to promote the charger as a multi-use hub for commercial ground transport.

• Stakeholder Management: Confidently converse with airport management, pilots, airside operations teams, and engineers using precise, compliant aviation terminology.

• Marketing & Community Engagement: Design, launch, and manage targeted marketing campaigns to raise awareness of the new infrastructure within the general aviation community and local region.

• Event Organisation: Plan and execute launch events, live charging demonstrations, and local interest workshops at the airport to drive community engagement and alternative revenue streams (e.g., ticketing).

What We Are Looking For

• Aviation Literacy: A strong, proven understanding of aviation environments, terminology, airside protocols, or flight operations.

• Autonomous Worker: Comfortable working 100% remotely, managing your own pipeline, and maintaining momentum without daily supervision.

• Commercial Drive: Experience in business development, B2B sales, project management, or high-stakes networking is an advantage.
